B/W photo of some strange cloud stuff... besides turning the pic to grayscale I didn't edit it at all, what the heck are the clouds doing here? O_O

It either looks like they are starring you down, or ... well that's about it...!

I've seen those. The two hour drive to school or back gives me lots of cloud-watching time. They are wild things. I wouldn't doubt any tall claims about clouds.

They're getting ready to pwn you :)
Those are Mamatus clouds ^-^ they usually carry high winds and sleet/hail that give them the swirly, bumpy appearance. They're notorious for blasting unsuspecting peoples with harsh downbursts suddenly, though it dosn't look like these guys were packing anything too serious.

Hey, why not submit it to the cloud appreciation society? Your shot is pretty darn good, aside from being a little grainy (at least to a non-expert such as myself).

I've seen that formation a few times around here (SF Bay area) and it's always a little disturbing. It reminded me of pre-tornado cloud formations, but not exactly.

crazy stuff. Keep up the good work.

hmm... looks like they're pretty low, was it storming? If so then they're wall clouds. We get those all the time down here in Texas. Though you live up in Canada right?

I dunno, but it's awesome shit. ^^
