    Thank you everyone for all your advice everyones comments have been really helpful.
    My computer is still chugging and making noises, and freezing--but it hasn't kicked the bucket quite yet, but at least I think it will hold out until I get a new computer. I am really excited about getting a Mac, mostly for the sheer fact that I can go from my Mac at school to my PC at home and continue to work on my assignments, and not have my PC whine and I loose all my information (which sucks !) and visa versa.

    But continue to send my chuggy computer good vibes, I think it's working o_o


    Freaky.

    so your computer are making noise, freeze and/or shut down, i dont think it was something wrong with it, have you try to clean the cpu, and/or reformat the computer.

    Its old, I hate it, I took it to the computer doctor and the prognosis was grim. I can't do the work I want to do with a PC, and I hate PC's in general :/
